  1. we are drafting cason, bufkin, or keyonte. No one else even compares

  2. Update: Gary Trent Jr. has opted in to his player option with the Raptors. Just something to keep in mind when hearing some of the discussion points that were filmed before the news broke.

  3. Jacob might leave due to the raptors wanting to rebuild I think they should draft a Center and trade Fred for bench

  4. I like your perspective on each players game. But I do differ in where I stand. My guys to draft in order are Bilal Coulibaly/ Kobe Bufkin and then Cason Wallace.

Also think we should find a way to get Emanuel Miller and Nadir Hifi on Exhibit 10 training camp deals. Love both of their games, especially if we want to restock our roster with hard nosed effort guys like the Heat have shown to find. Hifi reminds me so much of Gabe Vincent. And Miller is a hometown boy.

  5. Yes Nick smith junior. I’m the only one in raptors land shouting about Nick smith. Lakers or GSW is going to take him

  6. This ranking is terrible. You are putting up 3 players I would not even consider to take for the 13th pick. Cason Wallace is just another Davion Mitchell. What use is Davion Mitchell for the raptors? How does that move the needle when your team needs to find another +8 in net rating per 48? Grady dick is another Kyle Korver. Swapping one of the bench players 15 minutes for Kyle Korver will not significantly improve the upside of this team. Nick Smith Jr. seriously? When there are so many better prospects than him.

This team is not close to contending, it is +6 to +8 net rating per 48 away. It needs to hands down collect assets. Drafting to address need is just stupid. The big elephant in the room that the teams needs to figure under the new tax systems is who are its two stars. Currently the #1 and #2 on this team are effectively Pascal and Fred. That is a fail and why the team was not a playoff team. With Fred leaving the #1 and #2 become Pascal and OG which is even worse. Whoever gets drafted. Their timeline to becoming a #1 or #2 if it ever happens is not for another 3 years or more. Therefore the only plan should be to draft someone with upside that is the best asset available.

That being said our wish list should look something like this. Tier 1, Cam Whitmore or Bilal Coulibaly. Tier 2, Kobe Bufkin, Jalen Hood Schifino or Deyonte George. I doubt either Whitmore or Coulibaly falls to 13. Therefore my expectation would be to take Bufkin because he has the least deficiencies of Tier 2 prospects.
