I think Cole Anthony’s contract situation is blown out of proportion, financially speaking. I would be more than happy to cut Gary Harris loose and give most of that salary to Cole IF he is okay being the 6th man.
I know that he wants to be a starter but I have seen his salary come up as an obstacle as well and I would 100% rather have him than Gary Harris.
This would also still leave us with over $20 million in cap space and potentially Jonathan Isaac’s salary waived by the new year if he can’t put in the performances required.

I may be in the minority here, but I wouldnt extend Cole or Kelle this offseason. Wait until next offseason, see if you have anything with Black or Jett, and go from there.
With the new salary rule, you dont want to be caught with bad contract. If you do, youll have to find a way to trade them away (see the draft. Mavs and Kings giving up capital in order to shed bad salary). And to me, theres too many questions with Kelle and Cole to risk giving a bad contract.
