GG Jackson was the top recruit in the 2024 recruiting class before reclassifying ahead to play at South Carolina. He is one of the youngest players in this draft and the upside for him is absurd. The Washington Wizards getting him in the second round could be one of the top steals in the draft.

g.G. Jackson's faults as a player only have to do with hsyouth and the lousy team he played on. You will see instant improvement as a pro in the Memphis system.
He will be taught the right way and his skills will allow to become a willing and able passer because he will be able to trust his team mates to score. I'm very happy with this pick.

I know his draft stock was low but the eye test is just giving wayyyyy too much talent to not take a chance on this guy. Plus his age?? Give him time and its looking scary. Movements and jumper are insane for his size

The kid has apologized to USC for his behavior. Remains to be seen if his attitude will change in the pros. He already lost 5-10 million dropping to the second round.EDIT….Memphis is probably the last team he should be on……The town is a complete dump and numerous opportunities for him to get in real trouble.
