Allen to Pelicans Rumor

What could we get for JA? We’d likely have to take Valanciunas in return to make salaries work. Would we bring Nance Jr. back home? Is Trey Murphy III off the table?

ZION! As someone who went to school in Mississippi – restricting jambalaya/gumbo access is key. Can’t blame him at all

I mean, if we’re getting Valanciunas and Trey Murphy, that’s pretty good.

This is the crazy stuff Windy was talking about. Zion, incoming.

Oh, man. Not only does the East run through Cleveland, but so will NBA Twitter.

  4. RileySmiley22

What do they even have? Please don’t say zion

  5. Cavs get:

    Jonas Valanciunas

    Trey Murphy

    Dyson Daniels

    Pelicans get:

    Jarrett Allen

    Isaac Okoro

    Picks

Works on the trade machine at least!

Or swap out Daniels with Nance and Alvarado then the Cavs add Dean Wade. That works on the trade machine too

    Ahh I love off-season rumors!

The Cavs aren’t getting Zion and even if they somehow did it wouldn’t matter if he never plays.

  7. JA for JV and Murphy. Send it to the league office.

I really don’t want Zion. I’d take Valencunias and Murphy or Herb but that’s it. And I really don’t see anything other than JA being a good return. Trading Okoro and even more of our future picks just stunlocks us into winning now mode like the Suns, which is not a place I wanna be in. I’d rather balance being competitive with having some semblance of a future.

People want Ingram and Zion but realistically we could get very solid depth here with Valanciunas and Murphy. I’d love that

Would be interested in Valunciunas + Murphy/Daniels, but I would be shocked if they’re even available

  11. If we can find a way to get brandon Ingram I would absolutely lose my mind.

As much as I’d love to bring in Zion and his potential to still be great, damn is it hard to justify sacrificing JA for a guy who’s not on the court much. I love JA and have since we got him and i’d hate to give him up but if we can get an impact player it‘s hard to not to listen

  13. elisa_daggerknife

y’all are INSANE if you dont want zion. Dude is a beast and a half. Have you watched him play? Embiid was injured early in his career too. Lots of players overcome injuries

trey murphy is literally perfect for us. if the pels are actually crazy enough to include him in an allen trade- you pull the trigger immediately

time and time again it’s been said- this team’s true championship window will be when mobely comes into his own, and likely slides to center. moving on from allen may be inevitable if this team is to reach its full potential and a valentunas + murphy for allen trade returns us a center that covers evan’s current weaknesses (size against ‘true’ centers and spacing) and a dream fit for us at 3.

i’m super high on murphy, but even if he doesn’t improve beyond what he’s already shown, he’s a knockdown shooter and a good defender at the 3 position. exactly what we’ve been hunting for

You guys are wild thinking you could get either Murphy or Zion, let alone Ingram. It would be Jonas + picks and that’s it. Cavs said no and moved on

  16. Complete-Ad-5625

You think we could do JA and like a second or two for BI? Idk their trade values too well so idk how realistic that is but it doesn’t sound horrible for either side

  17. Do people actually want this? Some of y’all are crazy with the JA hate. It’s unfair and unwarranted

  18. ihatemcconaughey

I’d love to get Murphy & Val. I think Val fits the team a little better (albeit older), and that Trey is going to be a superstar. That being said, Griff knows Trey is going to be a star and will not give him up cheap.

  19. NotAn0pinion

I’m only doing this for BI and no shot that’s on the table from their end
