Starting next year, team that do not spend 90% by the first day of the regular season will not receive a tax distribution. https://t.co/rWClpsBvPL

Wait so the penalty is not getting the tax distribution checks. Which there won’t a lot of money anyways because every team now wants to be under the tax apron. Last year was 17.3 million. Basically, if an owner is okay not receiving that check, then not touching that 90% isn’t a big deal.
Wait was it less earlier?
So how much do the rockets have to go?
1 year 25 million dollar deals will now be commonplace.
