I feel like this happens with FL all the time. We have a bunch of teams make it super far then no one wins. Not diminishing these results at all but imagine how awesome it would be if 2 FL teams won championships at the same time.

Times like these I’m glad the only team I’m a fan of in Florida is the Heat…. Actually it’s probably better to get that close and lose than lose early in the playoffs or not make them at all.

To be fair, minus the Gators they all over achieved. Panthers beat the best regular season team of all time after being down 3-1, the Heat beat the 1 seed too, Canes beat a 1 seed too, granted they were a 5 seed in 16 seed playoff (ACC was criminally under-seeded this year), and I never would’ve expected a Conference USA team in the Final 4 (FAU was also under-seeded, you don’t win 31 games on accident).
