  1. I don’t remember people liking the Felicio signing at the time.

I bet you read my comment in the other thread 😂

  3. Hey I was in that thread! It was definitely a popular move at the time, both by Bulls fans and the general NBA fan sentiment. Everyone believed he’d improve as we tanked and his contract was similar to other overpays that were happening around the league thanks to the cap jump, so it was thought to be low risk tanking move even if it didn’t work.

Obviously we were all wrong, he didn’t improve, and the horrible contracts that were going to everyone led to a lot of buyers remorse.

One legit criticism at that time was that we were bidding against ourselves on him, and we just did the same thing with Vuc.

At least there’s a common denominator: “Now it’s time for Derrick Rose to come back.”

I remember I loved the move then, and I love it now 😤

The top comments in both signing threads are flooded with support lol. So the minority opinion was right last time but not this time?

wow so many trolls here. when was felicio worth 8mil? it makes vuc signing almost cheap haha.

This was a thing? I wasn’t on Reddit back then but I didn’t know a single Bulls fan that was excited about Felicio’s contract irl. Bro always looked clumsy to me 😅

Definitely thought he was going to be better, if he actually developed that contract would’ve been a steal. But he didn’t, and Vuc is a known talent at this point
