Wow… studio looking nice guys. Impressive space.
He’s not a guard he is a 3
He's not a 3 he's a combo forward, which means they are hoping he can play 4 positions at given moments. I like his energy and play style but surely it was a reach for even a rebuilding team with so much left on the board.
They could've traded down and got two or three more picks with the way this draft went. Imagine you could have gotten Brice Seasabaugh, Cam Whitmore and Leonard Miller if the were smarter. Imagine that. But time will reveal.
One more thing: Tyus Jones is a helluva catch. Dude us one of the smarter PGs in the league and he doesn't turn the ball over frequently. With that said if they don't somehow get Kuzma back look for a 25-30 win season. They won't have enough fire power to compete with this new style NBA
I like him but i feel like he is the wrong player to get..to start a rebuild.
Yeah we had pretty good draft picks but we trade them away( kelly oubre, rui hachimura) and also those picks were under a different GM
All of those past draft busts and misses you mentioned were due to Tommy Sheppard. He was a complete moron from the Ernie Grunfeld regime and Grunfeld was the king of idiots. Given what Winger has done overall so far, he seems legit so I give him the benefit for the doubt with Coulibaly.
What's the point in drafting 7 and 8 then trading the players? No need to do that if you are drafting after each other. So what was the point???
the thing is phil jackson drafted Frank Ntilikina to be a triangle offense PG i.e. Bulls Ron Harper/LA Derek Fisher. This requires you to pretty much bring up the ball and play defense. Such a bad draft pick. Drafted him to be a no upside type player.
