They really think they’re getting Bruce. I’m intrigued

  2. notgenericname2

There’s already something lined up, glad to see this

  3. LAKESHOW03

Money saving move. Hope they have a plan.

  4. BatmanHive

I was hoping they can find a trade for him and Beasley, looks like they will waive him too unless they can find a trade within the next few hours

  5. MrAppleSpoink

I think this is VERY likely indicating we have someone already lined up with our MLE.

  6. Awesomefan09

As expected. It’s possible the Lakers bring him back for the vet minimum.

  7. StoneColdAM

Wow, I’m kind of surprised they waived him instead of Beasley in terms of cost. Of course, while Beasley mostly stank, Bamba barely played even when he was healthy. Maybe the team just didn’t think he was a good fit. He was the 6th overall pick, but hasn’t done anything special since.

Oh fuck man. Sad. Couldn’t get a second rounder for him? We saw him play like five minutes all season.

  9. opeth2310

But we needed a center who is tall and can’t defend!!!

  10. Bulky-Razzmatazz-951

I’m hoping we bring him back on a lesser deal. Andre Drummond opted into his option with Chicago and that’s going to set (what is left) of the center market for Mo. I hope we get him back on a team-friendly deal for some added depth at center.

Kinda sucks … no real center depth unless we think weynlin works as a center whoch he doesnt

  12. SmushPablo

I still think we might bring him back with the bi anal exception

  13. Sparkyis007

what sucks is that with both Bamba and Beasley not being brought back for their money is that we have little wiggle room for trades

Each of these guys could have been used to help take on salary at the deadline, now there is no way to take back a 3rd star at the deadline unless we trade away depth

  14. redundantPOINT

I guess the team really likes castleton

  15. Hopefully this means we have somebody on lock. Just letting him go, regardless of how bad he was isn’t ideal.

  16. discussionandrespect

Bamba sucks boys, he’s too slow. It’s better to move on and try to build something better with the many possibilities we have

  17. Plastic-Dot-9278

Pelinka’s stupidity reaches new heights every offseason. Honestly impressive how bad he is

  18. Brunobrunobrunobru

Would we be able to bring him back on a cheaper contract ?

  19. FailOk8045

Lmao thank god. Dude sucks and had so many homers for some reason

  20. Who are the other bigs we can target? Center FA class this year looks weak that includes Bamba lol

  21. isit65outsideor

Can’t believe there were people here thinking Lakers would bring him back or Beasley.

  22. LingDaKingofXing

Whelp looks like this is the time to see if those bullshit ass “BaMbA tO tHe BuLlS” rumors play out depsite them having already having 2 Centers already. Either we re-sign Bamba to a cheaper deal or Bamba goes to a team that is desperate for any type of Center. I think it’s most likely the 1st scenario.

  23. Due_Restaurant_8045

I’m hoping we could afford or get Donte divecenzo maybe so and Bruce Brown

  24. CrazyDaylight8

What if we are signing Dillon Brooks for the MLE instead of Bruce Brown? Or we are keeping Dennis?

  25. theflow21

Interesting, if we can Bruce Brown or someone of that caliber for the MLE I’m for it but I also have a bad feeling this will be another case of a free agent leading us on.

  26. Ryukawesome

Let’s hope something is going on, because our biggest deficit was center and now it’s even bigger.

  27. trumanshoe

Just sign Tristan for cheap. TT surprised us during the tiny amount of playing time he got in games 3 and 4 vs Denver. He moves his feet, screens and rolls hard, and is desperate to stay in the league.
