Rob, no one is begging Kyrie to play for their team. The topic is there is little interest in Kyrie outside of Dallas. I would say there is also little interest for Kyrie in Dallas. Kyrie ruined his career with his antics. No one else is going to trade for Kyrie. Stop with the Kyrie to the Lakers. That will NEVER happen. Kyrie will take what Mark Cuban offers him, or he's out of the league. No GM and no owner wants the issues they all know about in Brooklyn. The owners and GMs get the full story while we're leaked parts of the story. People forget Kyrie was a problem in Cleveland refusing to speak to his teammates for weeks at a time, and that included LeBron.
Here is what people aren't talking about if Kyrie signs with Dallas. Dallas risk losing Luka. Luka may ask for a trade. Luka sees that key players were traded. Yes, Kyrie is a great player, but Luka, like most of the league, knows Kyrie is not a team guy. Kyrie isn't interested in winning. Kyrie shows up to collect a check. Signing Kyrie risk the Mavs losing Luka. For Mark, I don't think that's worth it. I let Kyrie walk.
