I don’t like the idea of celebrating someone losing their job…. but at the same time I do like the idea of maybe being able to watch the playoffs without having to hear from someone who sounds like he’s forced to be there.
No more diatribes about the modern game. No more rants about some guy in 3rd row wearing a tie.
The production quality should rise as the stakes do but that’s not been the case with ESPN. All that money and they’re still working through audio kinks in the playoffs while their commentators struggle to care about the game in front of them.
