Very sad. I hope he continues to be a part of NBA games somewhere. For those of us who watched the NBA when he was a coach, you can’t help but smile when he goes off script and says exactly what’s on your mind and rails on things that just don’t make sense (shouldn’t be a foul, but it’s a foul now due to the rules or that’s just bad basketball etc). The NBA is a lot more fun when there’s a few people who rock the boat with legitimate remarks (Van Gundy, Barkley, etc.) as opposed to people doing it for the sake of doing it (Perkins, Stephen A Smith).
