when you lose your job first before mark jackson

  2. mynickkerr

Layoffs suck, but honestly it was his time to go. Dude speaks with so much contempt for the game it’s borderline unlistenable.

  3. GlueGuy00

What’s the reason behind? Is it budget cuts?

  4. Please Mark Jackson

    Please Mark Jackson

    Please Mark Jackson

  5. He was that bad to you guys? i honestly don’t listen to commentary much

  6. wowsocoolbro1

canning him and retaining Jackson is certainly a move

  7. MyNameIsAMeme

WTF Keep Mark Jackson and get rid of Van Gundy??? I swear to god if they replace him with Doris Burke.

  8. ughwhateverman

I’m in the minority of actually liking JVG, especially when it was just him + a play by play guy. Solidly entertaining and knows the game. The rants can be annoying but yeah

I’ll miss you Jeff. Everything I know about what you can and cannot do with cousins, I owe to you.

Bro got sniped before Mark Jackson who provides literally nothing of value to the broadcast.

  11. Breen and Jackson alone is so much worse, don’t do this to me ESPN

  12. jjgshnimnt

Hopefully they shoot mark jackson into the sun

This sucks. We’re going to end up with both Doc Rivers and Mark Jackson in the booth.

Finally! Really made the warriors finals wins less enjoyable than they should have been. The worst.

How many bodies is Mark Jackson aware of

  16. I would take JVG over Jackson any day of the week, sad to hear.

  17. Whale_Scrotum

Hopefully Mark Jackson is next. Mike Breen was doing everything he could to make up for those two goobers all playoffs

He always seemed so adversarial with all the other announcers. Like just awkward tension the whole time

  19. Very sad. I hope he continues to be a part of NBA games somewhere. For those of us who watched the NBA when he was a coach, you can’t help but smile when he goes off script and says exactly what’s on your mind and rails on things that just don’t make sense (shouldn’t be a foul, but it’s a foul now due to the rules or that’s just bad basketball etc). The NBA is a lot more fun when there’s a few people who rock the boat with legitimate remarks (Van Gundy, Barkley, etc.) as opposed to people doing it for the sake of doing it (Perkins, Stephen A Smith).

Fire Mark Jackson, get JJ Reddick and Richard Jefferson in that booth and ESPN will be set for many, many years. At least as long as those two would want to do the job.

Great chemistry, RJ is sarcasm personified and JJ can give you good analysis with a few little jabs here and there.

He’ll probably be replaced with a FanDuel ad

  22. MrBiggleswerth

How do you lose your job on your day off bro

  23. Blue_BEN99
