I tend to agree. Fred was much better than most undrafted players ever hope to be. He wasn’t perfect but it’s also not on him for being put in this role. Realistically, those of us who want a reset should be directing our frustration to the FO, not so much at Fred

As frustrated as I’ve been with him over the years, the good, imo, has outweighed the ‘bad’. I would like for him to return, but only doing so at a number that makes sense for both sides. 30M per would be the absolute highest I would go if I were the FO.

Will always appreciate FVV for how he contributed to our championship run. It’s the org’s fault for lining him up to be the Next Kyle Lowry when he really wasn’t. Kyle just had so many intangibles on and off the court

As someone who has never liked FVV I think the levels of hate he gets in this sub is unwarranted and horribly toxic. Guy was a big part of us winning a chip who throughout his career with us has had ups and downs. It’s sad that this recent year was mostly downs, but he was a big part of a lot of great Raptors moments.

FVV is not a perennial all star but unfortunately for us he’s going to be paid like one. He’s a good starting point guard, who’s had a lot of great games for us
