  1. GOOD moves for sure but ESPN just said they still have 25 million even after the trade better spend that money or NBA getting that money 😂

  2. I'd start. Collins C ,Sochan PF, Wemby Sf, McDermot SG, Jones PG…. Victor and McBuckets will be a deadly combo I reckon. THEN off the bench Bassey, KJ, Vassell, Champagne and Wesley. That's a stacked AF second unit.

  3. Most FA's are already signed and we can see the writing on the wall…another season where the Spurs fail to bring in any quality FA's. Players simply don't want to come to SA, it's that simple. So stop turning your nose up at more and more second round picks since the draft is the only real way the Spurs are going to get better. And, within those seconds ARE some quality players, they just gotta get both lucky and better at finding them, which means MORE seconds are GOOD. There ARE more Jokic's and Manu's out there, more picks= more chances to find them.

  4. I’m from San Antonio and between you and clan, Y’all are the only two channels I watch for spurs news and y’all aren’t even from the city! I appreciate the content TSR!

  5. -Tre Jones, Vassell, Keldon, Sochan, Wemby

    -Sochan, Vassell, Keldon, Cedi, Wemby

    -Sochan, Vassell, Keldon, Wemby, Collins/Bassey

    I like it

  6. I think Spurs will now have the option to use Tre as a starter, or sometimes as a backup in name only as they try on some nights Jeremy as a point forward.

Probably, see this tested in games where Tre starts, but Jeremy runs the team and second half Jones is the starter. My guess we will see a variation of minutes v. actual game designation. If its successful then possibly as season goes on Jeremy becomes the starter.

Point is the Spurs are going themselves flexibility/ options without bringing an “outside” PG who now needs to learn the system. The Spurs can now experiment from day one.

The Spurs are playing this perfectly 👍👍👍👍👍

  7. Ok the Tre Jones signing made sense and was a safe one. Here's my only issue: Now that t he Rockets has spent big money on Van Fleet, the Spurs have the most cap space to bring in free agents. And the only signings we've done in day 1 was to bring back guys who contributed to a 20 win season. I'm not excited for a guy who's only resume with the Spurs is 15 games of a throw away season. With big names going off the market very quickly, we once again will be bargain basement shopping for free agents when we had all this money to spend.

  8. Happy Saturday my man! Lot of interesting moves across the board… should be a fun NBA season👊🏼

  9. if Jones is the starting PG, means Pop gonna create another Sixth man like Manu strategy? and KJ or Sochan is the choice for this strategy.

  10. Well, Sochan or Keldon must go from bench, I know Spurs fans willl not like it but it seems it coould be Sochan, cause KJ is some sort of a leader on the team, also do not know what Wemby role will be at the begining

  11. Starters and bench players on a spurs team is irrelevant. It’s all about minutes and I think we’ll find a good balance

  12. I was dreading the Spurs committing to Tre at the point long term, and i am so HAPPY that they didn't. Gave him a perfect contract without overpaying money wise, but more importantly without overpaying years wise. He could easily be traded next year as his 10m contract is expiring and the Spurs aren't paying him so much that you have to play him ahead of Malakai/Wesley. Overall great job by the Spurs.

I do still want Mamu signed ASAP

  13. Austin Reaves just signed with LA for a measly $14/m/yr ??? Now why did he do that? That's the lowest offer on the table for him. The only thing I can think of is something else has been offered under the table. LA has been notorious for doing that to avoid the cap. The NBA needs to start looking into this man and do an audit of his books. Something isn't right here.

  14. Seeing the latest news, I'm kind of disappointed at the Spurs free agency. Most of the big names are gone. Wasn't expecting Kirye, but I hoped for some real upgrade on the roster. I suppose we'll be a salary dump on the Lillard trade…

  15. I like this. Julian Champagnie is a smooth shooter and Tre Jones runs the point solidly and might surprise everyone and become a perimeter threat.

  16. Don't forget trey jones was the point guard that took duke to the championship along with zion williamson and R j barrett
