[Krell] Reality is that the 76ers probably don’t know how much salary space they’ll have left after the Harden deal. They don’t know which exceptions, if any, they’ll have left after the trade(s). 76ers shouldn’t be comfortable committing money beyond vet minimums until they get a Harden deal done.

>The risk of locking themselves out of a suitable Harden trade just isn’t worth quickly spending relatively large chunks of money, even if it’s on a player that makes sense for the Sixers.

[This]( https://973espn.com/why-the-eventual-james-harden-trade-made-it-impossible-for-the-sixers-to-re-sign-jalen-mcdaniels) is a good explanation on why the 76ers haven’t done much in Free Agency.

Ok, then why aren’t we signing guys on vet mins? We’re about to enter Day 3 of free agency and our only move is Patrick fucking Beverley. And I liked the Pat Bev pickup but come the fuck on.

  2. Malik Beasley on a minimum makes too much sense for us and him at this point. We need shooting bad.

How bout Harden for Ja Morant? Do you think Memphis thinks they’re close to winning it all?

I mean we were never going to be big players in FA with our cap situation, their activity so far is not even remotely surprising

By the time the trade is done, all the decent players will be gone anyway
