It's about time they change things over in the Philippines. *If the player is already physically ready or has a big UPSIDE (raw talent but potentially allstar level), that player should be allowed to turn pro even if he isn't 21 yet or is still in college. Give the club coaches and managers the freedom to make that "risky" decision. It's their club's money anyway. But that '"risky" decision shouldn't be the pro league's decision.* In the NBA, the philosophy is "old enough to vote, old enough to work, so old enough to get drafted". The player can still continue to take college classes during the off-season or sometime in the future, but that is a personal choice, it's the player's right to choose. Basketball is his chosen career so it is his right to pursue it, so allow him to do so.
