The sixers problems are the ownership not getting the right people, only going name seeking, just like the GM they got now. Draft three centers in a row during the tanking years, I can go on and on. Fast-forward to the Glen Rivers hire a coach who doesn't develop players at all, never did, the only championship he won was with a loaded veteran team. Glenn has more blown playoff leads in history. He let solid rotation players go because they were young, without compensation.
Now for Darl Morley, whose claim to fame is riding James Hardens coattails in his prime during the flop, it's a foul year until they changed the rules.
The Ben Simmons disaster this GM turned down Tyres Haliburton and Hield and 2 number one draft picks, that may have been lottery picks.
This GM gave up more for a rent a dive named James Harden. He gave up draft picks, solid rotational players for nothing. I do recall RB you told me we need to win now, we need Harden Haliburton is too young and you were not the only one. I got to ask you how is that looking now?
Darl Morley will do the same thing he did with Ben Simmons, make the price too high, and he will end up giving more, especially number one draft picks the sixers give them out like candy. The sixers do it so much, they got fans thinking number one draft picks are nothing, it is nothing when you don't have good scouts and no player development. The Sixers GM gave up Matisse for nothing, a GM should be fired for incompetence for that.

Everyone should instead be paying attention to the Sixers roster situation:
Currently have 10 players making $159.8025 M.
Morey is waiting out to see if a team gives Reed an offer sheet. Could be 9 M – 12.4 M (MLE).
But if no offer comes, Reed could agree to Morey's low bid offer (around 5 M).
Or Reed could accept his qualifying offer of 2.26 M and become an unrestricted FA next summer.
Then the Sixers would have available the taxpayer MLE of 5.000 M. Christian Woods is still on the market.
If Morey keeps Reed for 9 M, and uses the t-MLE, the salary would be 173.80 with 12 players.
Add about 3 M for Petrosev and another Minimum player, to give 176.8 M, well below the 2nd Apron of 182.8 M.
Nobody wants to get traded from Philly because a ring is on its way to the city.
What will happen (my predictions). Harden will turn up out of shape again at the start of the season (his trade-me attitude). Maxey will be unhappy. Embiid and Tobias's numbers will decline.. Pat Bev will be a disruptive in the team (that is why he gets traded every year the past few years). Morey have not done any significant trades and rebuilding except for Ben for Harden. Solution: Trade and rebuild (except for Maxey) and get the max returns including Embiid. Also get a better GM.
I think it doesn't matter. Whatever Dallas Sixers do fans will be up in arms.

If this organization trades Tyrese Maxey I can’t look at it the same. Maxey has proven that he is a player you need around a guy like Embiid. Trading him for Dame doesn’t make sense. They also said that Portland doesn’t like the deals because they are to guard centered and they have enough guards and he just isn’t needed, a solid wing player is needed

It is unrealistic to believe you are getting a superstar player. For a player on an expiring contract that wants nothing to do with you. Morey already has a reputation as a person not to be trusted. This is going to lock that in.
