Dame’s departure had already been dragging on way too long *before* it started affecting the Warriors, but now it’ll feel even more agonizingly slow 😒

  2. Is there a deadline for all of this nonsense? I can’t imagine the people who would take vet min can wait forever.

For those who don’t want to read the article, here’s the excerpt that sums it up:

    > “The Heat have told free-agent players like Malik Beasley, who agreed to a one-year contract with [the] Milwaukee [Bucks] on Monday, that Miami is in a holding pattern before moving forward with its veteran-minimum signings, sources said,” Fischer wrote. “Other players like Josh Christopher, recently traded from Houston to Memphis, and **Dario Šarić, who had a strong suitor in Golden State, could also be involved with Miami depending on these Lillard proceedings**, sources said.”

To Miami he goes 🙄. I know this is their money/livelihood and none of my business but did these old head asses not see us win a ring 2 years ago?

I’d love Saric. He’d look good in Blue/Yellow🙏🏻

  6. Could be a leverage play for the second year option from us, which we should give even if it costs Joe big money. I get why offering the second year for 8 mil post tax isn’t worth it for most signings. We usually overreact to min signings or lack therof, but we really need a decent stretch 4 and no one else is available. Not sure we win our last title without OPJ.

On the other hand I honestly doubt dame gets dealt now. The deals reportedly on the table suck. Why should the blazers be in a big rush? He’s under contract for 4 years. Portland isn’t going to win this year with or without him. They can put him on ice until the trade deadline when someone will be more desperate.
