As a Grizz fan, this isn’t what we need. Hopefully, he can be a locker room guy but I don’t expect a whole lot on the floor.
D Rose's game had that flair like MJ and Kobe. He hit few game winners in the playoffs so we know he aint afraid of the moment and I believe he was on his way to a ring if not for the injuries. He would probably have 2 or 3 with the right players around him.

Now this is a good deal for both sides; you get a guy who went to school in Memphis and is a leader with credibility in that city among the real root people in that area who will always love Rose and now you have a point guard who can control the pace and give the team stability so the other star key players can shine — the chemistry ought to be fine in Memphis regardless of what happens to Morant. I really love this deal for the Grizzlies, the people of Memphis and Rose himself.

I like the move for several different reasons. D. Rose will get more playing time, for one. Also, when Ja Morant does come back. D. Rose can be that mentor, big brother figure that he needs. Win win all the way around. 💯🫡

D Rose will look at Ja and think. You’re good, but me at your age, not quite up to my level bruh. D Rose has Ja’s athleticism, but had a better handle, better passer and was stronger.
I'm happy to hear that he's landed somewhere! The Grizzlies need some maturity in that team and Rose will provide that influence. I watched the Math Hoffa interview and he's got the experience and understands what it's like to go through it.
