I respect that he is playing within himself out here. He could be taking 20 shots like some other people but he’s playing a similar game to what he will be doing in the regular season

  2. I’m not even joking, I thought I was watching Kobe on some of those plays

I like that dude is getting stronger while keeping his frame and mechanics those two things are super important. Giannis and WB were decent shooters before but once they got swoll there shot mechanics fell off a cliff moresoe Giannis than anything. Bron lowkey was a better shooter when he had a lighter body.

Max and Cam gon duke it out for that 11th spot but I know see why the team let both Lonnie and Troy go to see Max grow.

I can lowkey see an Austin Reaves type come up in Max.

That cross over into the spin….yeah he’s got that backup sg spot on lock.

I’ve suddenly forgotten Beasley even existed

Watching Max highlights always improves my mood

  10. He was playing with great poise and under control. Good to see he wasn’t forcing anything and was still able to get to his spots. Really excited for him and how he can contribute this season.

He’s making NBA level shots. It’s not as if he’s just over powering smaller guys or driving by slower guys. Catch and shoot. Off the dribble. Those will translate to the season.

That dribble punch to the baseline then countering with a spin fade is a pro move. Yeah that boy gonna be good

  15. Even as a rookie, his jump shot already looked great even if the results weren’t and he had a really smooth and fluid look to his game. It really is a lot like Kobe where they just look good on the court.
