i.e. He won’t be shipped to a team that isn’t going to/capable of building around him. Including him in a trade makes no sense, not even Atlanta with the picks they gave up for him. We don’t have a naive new owner kicking around with their new toy.

I actually really like Murray. Found Atlanta a weird fit for him but he pretty much dragged SAS to the play ins with an awful supporting cast. He’s young and can do multiple things in the court.

Hawks fan here and I don’t mean to harass or anything (been peeping this sub since the Siakam/Hawks trade rumors) but I been seeing a lot of comments questioning Dejounte’s character and I gotta say some of you guys are way off. He’s the locker room leader and our most beloved member. He takes all the young guys under his wing. Even have 5 AM duo workouts with our 15th guy on the roster, Vít Krejčí. He’s also still close with the young guys he mentored in SA. Would give all the young guys on your squad like Scottie and Grady that confidence boost to kill. He can be full of himself at times and it can come off cocky, but a really good dude imo.
I think this tweet was about signing his extension which would be a pay cut to stay with us which also shows his commitment because he could hit the FA market next year and make us give him the FVV-Houston max (they’re both Klutch lol)
