Happy that he got an actual contract and a chance. Obviously, they could still trade him down the line, but it’s nice to see they are seemingly giving him a chance to recover and prove himself.
Good. Losing Year 1 to an ACL tear must be the stuff of nightmares for a 2nd round pick.

So the Center rotation is JV -> Nance -> Zeller -> EJ but with EJ being the Nance injury replacement and also being the backup 4

Nice, if EJ can be a Grant Williams-level of player then that’s a big win. I think he’s got a bit of a higher ceiling defensively too.
