  1. Until Bron leaves I can't root for my Lakers but It's extremely impressive the team they've built and should be a highly entertaining season! Would be amazing to see Bron go down w a pinky toe injury or something minor and we win a ring w out him although I'm sure he would still get all the credit anyway but would be a much harder narrative to push!๐Ÿคž

  2. nba players dont get hurt like nfl players and i personally think any contract should be 100% like mlb contracts! players always get shafted and the owners never get shafted

  3. Take Bontemps off hoop collective and add Reddick , it would be the be the best basketball podcast hands down

  4. Windy needs to be a regular on this. Heโ€™s the only one that actually breaks this all down in a way I understand. Plus, he always has early intel and rumors. I feel like he could be like a weather man but for NBA nerd logistic stuff. Heโ€™s also just a great guy! Great episode JJ!

  5. Windy is probably waaay too busy, but it would be awesome to have him on a couple more times during the year. Because hes soo good an its entertaining and interesting. You guys getting to talk bball like that is awesome.

  6. Iโ€™m really happy people appreciate windys expertise and knowledge now. People used to HATE on him heavily and say he was just Lebrons jester. Dude just loves basketball and is a nerd (in a good way) when it comes to NBA basketball and everything that goes on behind the scenes. Happy heโ€™s getting his props and how many people appreciate him!

  7. Another great episode! I learn so much about the game and the behind the scenes of the game from watching this show. It is so educational and entertaining. The only I wish JJ would introduce to the show is a visual illustration of actions, plays and moves that he speaks of when describing what a player and team does best or worse on both offense and defense. Other than that, this is awesome!

  8. It would be good to have him on 2x a year July and trade deadline in February he simplifies the process. Very good stuff

  9. Thanks JJ and Company for allowing Bryan to really flesh out his answers and provide an NBA historical bent as well…great pod.

  10. I think I can speak for the overwhelming majority of basketball fans when I say that we'd be perfectly happy if Windy, JJ, Woj and Bobby Marks were the only ones at ESPN covering basketball on a serious level. Richard Jefferson, Perk and SAS for the entertainment value.

This would be the ideal lineup.

  11. signing Jerami Grant allows the Blazers to trade him to a contender mid-year and get a bigger haul vs. just letting him walk and trying to back fill with a poor free agent class

  12. 'Diamond handcuffs?'๐Ÿค”
As we saw with the Jalen Green vs Josh Christopher sword fight AAU film,
They like furry pink handcuffs too…๐Ÿ˜’

  13. On the Kings topic, they signed the Euroleague MVP. I'm not a high level basketball player, but I feel like the Euroleague MVP should be good enough to make a real contribution to an NBA team, right?

  14. Kings look good. Added guy from Europe. Locked up there guys. Go about 9-10 deep should be good

  15. Any interview that can make Windy smile, laugh, and even give a โ€œHeck yeah!โ€, is a winner in my book ๐Ÿฅ‡

    This was really good!
