Been saying the same thing last 5 years. I’m tired Robbie

Ok sure but now we don’t actually have that roster, leave shake …. how are we replacing bang bang niang?

We’re waiting patiently, at the end of this I expect the roster to be better that’s all, I won’t prematurely judge the moves morey makes but when it’s said and done

If this is the roster then no… just no.

  3. Only reason that series went to 7 was because of very lucky Harden 40 pt games. Just watching the games, you could tell Boston was outclassing us. There’s a reason they blew us out 3 times.

What’s even worse is that wasn’t even a very good Boston team. An 8th seed proceeded to beat the fuck out of them in the next round.

  4. One win away with a chance to close out at home and we choked

  5. dude334kds

The only year we were truely one win away was the jimmy buckets year

  6. jawntothefuture

I somewhat agree with this sentiment but am also really into them blowing it up

To be completely fair all of our game 6 and 7 losses have come under Brett Brown/Doc Rivers. If you think coaching matters in this league, then this isn’t the worst thing

So that’s why they let the relationship with Harden degrade and wanting to walk, now desperately trying to patch that up and run it back.

If they actually believed that and wanted to run it back they should’ve just signed Harden to something, not this giant half measure of an offseason.

Ummm there was still 2 more rounds to play. This quote would’ve hit more if they loss being up 3-2 in the finals

  10. I mean, we were right there. I agree, but at the same time, it’s clear Harden and Embiid don’t have that intangible characteristic in order to not melt down when the season is on the line.

  11. jamhamram

Ah makes sense now. Daryl thinks Trez is gonna get us that game 7 in Boston this year

The team was legit ‘going to the finals’ this past season – Embiid got hurt, and they couldn’t over come that – and Im not saying “Embiid is glass” here, he just landed wrong and competed through an injury that he would have sat out for in the regular season, and that was enough to cause them to lose.

What I don’t like is Harden being another year old, PJ being immensely old at this point, and Pat Bev being clearly diminished from the player everyone considers him to be – he was unplayable at times against athletic guards last year, he won’t be quicker this year.

But it should be a 50 win season, they should have a better than this sub seems to feel chance at getting to the ECF again this year, and then they’ll be able to resign Tobi for less, lose Harden, and consider building through FA, or possibly letting them all go, trading Embiid and going young on a rebuild.

I don’t understand this really.. we’re literally NOT running back the same roster. A lot of guys have left.

  14. FutureBrockLesnar

One win away from losing to the Heat?

  15. Ok-Nature-3991

If we lose Bball we will be a decade away

  16. TheSixthPistol

You can beat your chest and say you were one win away, words are fucking cheap. Do it. Fucking do it. Everyone on the Sixers talks their shit then fucking eats it with so many fucking excuses. I’ve been a fan for more than two fucking decades at this point. Stop fucking edging us. You’re not Sasha Foxxx.

  17. PeteWWWong

I’m guessing he means the starting 5, cause the 2023 roster in total has been getting murked for the last week or so.

  18. marukoka

If, at least, Harden wanted to stay, than maybe i could buy this.

  19. AstroZombieInvader

We aren’t even doing that, though. We’ve already lost 3 contributing bench players.

Even if we have the same starting 5 to start the season, the cupboard is bare behind them.

  20. Doc__Toboggan

It was actually one shot. It was game 6 and Harden missed a 3 pointer. That was the season.

  21. Patient_Jicama_4217

And they lost in embarrassing fashion.

  22. Slimeygrimeykun

But its not the same roster we lost depth and 3 point shooting fuck man i believe we can win it all but we just need some real depth im tired of tobi on this team with his salary gine we could actually contend

  23. bogdano26

1 win away from ECF? So 9 wins away from championship? LMAO
