Nurse used Marc Gasol to hold Embiid to a 0-point game in 32 min in 2019. And he just frustrated him so many games over those years.

What Nick Nurse will DEMAND Embiid do is to beg for calls LOL, that shouldn't be so hard to Embiid since he is already one of the biggest cry babies in the NBA.
If we don't make it past the second round next postseason, I want Embiid and Harden gone as soon as possible and a new team to be built around Maxey. They are bad playoff performers. They're liabilities to me.
If Harden does leave I don't care.
lol for people that agrees with tim legler. DOC had embiid on the post and was efficient having his best season with less minutes. Doc changed up the offense more and had embiid play in the high post and elbow because it gave embiid more options to triple threat, pass out, drive in, mid range and etc. its funny how people just dont watch basketball or understand the reason why doc changed how he wants embiid to play. Under doc river, embiid has been playing his best and kept improving EVERY YEAR!
Nurse will right the ship however I think they need to let James harden walk or a sign and trade I wish dame was available he’s a cold blooded dog

The general sentiment amongst the basketball community in Cameroon (where he's highly disliked, as opposed to Mbah a Moute and Siakam who are LOVED), is that Embiid seems to have a deep sense of entitlement and superiority complex. He seems to feel he's always right and doesn't take responsibility. (I live in Cameroon by the way)
His cardio/endurance and effort has been a weakness his entire career. He panics when double teamed. He gives low effort and moves to the perimeter when things get tough down low. His passing from the post is suspect at best. All things he can and should have worked on but he doesn't seem to think he's the problem. Nurse is gonna set him straight, or fail in the attempt.

This is one of the worst breakdowns I have ever seen and of course the morons in the comments eat it up. Embiid needs to be in the post LESS. Jokic literally operates from the top of the key and only posts up off the ball on mismatches. Embiid needs to shoot more 3's less mid range jumpers and just less jumpers overall but where he does that from is irrelevant. You cant post up into hybrid zone defenses that weren't legal when Shaq Hakeem etc played.
Embiid is not a mature person to be an NBA player. That is his weakness and a change of coach is not the solution.

How unfortunate that Masai left coach Nurse to dry with no upgrade. Raps lost a lot of character players that helped with that Championship, and Masai didn't replenish that roster. I'm a Raptor fan, but I would love to see Nurse succeed with the Sixers. Now he has Embiid and Maxey as a 1-2 punch combo, with a possibility of having the 3rd with Harden.
For the past several years, all i've been hearing is how great embid is and how overrated (implied passive aggresively) jokic is. Now that the Joker is in the finals and has an 80% chance of being a champion(im conservative😂), WE ARE STILL TALKING ABOUT EMBID?!?

Face it, they aren't good enough. They drafted and developed terribly for almost ten years. Anyone whose been paying attention was watching the slow death of the process for years now. They could hire Greg Popovich in his prime, and it still wouldn't matter because they do not have the players to do it, and they have no conceivable way to get those players because they have shot every bullet they had. It's over, and it was over when they hired Jerry's kid and drafted Fultz, we just didn't want to admit it.
