Marcus Smart FIRST Grizzlies Interview: “Time With Celtics NOT a Failure”



MEMPHIS, TN — Former Celtics guard Marcus Smart was introduced officially as the newest member of the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday. On the trade that sent Marcus Smart to the Grizzlies, Smart said, “Fresh start. A lot of things personally in my life have happened this year and it can get you down, it can put you in a dark place. My house flooded… So just for me to start over and get back to routine.”

Smart still says that even without a title he doesn’t feel he failed in Boston:
“I helped rebuild that team when I came in and came out better.”
