Gillespie had a very whelming to disappointing game. I know thereās a lot of hope for him to make the team, he needs to turn it up
Hunter Tyson seems like a streaky player, but what a mean streak he had once he had that block.
Julian Strawther had a very sweet deep 3, and several sweet 3s. He will work really well with Jokic in the future
Pickett freaking turned it on the second half. Frickin passing sweet, shooting threes, playing D, backing some scrub up then walks with his back to the basket back to the three point line to shoot another three. Iām hyped for him to come off the bench this year
Most importantly, at times Peyton Watson looks like a cheat code. We might have struck gold again, and I can see why Paul George was excited to see what Watson is about.
I know the doomers will hate to admit it, but thereās a lot of hope and excitement to see how these young cats get it done

Hunter really knows how to play. Weāll see how he holds up against NBA players, but he really impressed me.
Peyton made a big impression too, he was amazing on defense for most of the game. I think we need to take a step back & understand that heās only 20 years old and not fully ready to be a ballhandler/playmaker on offense. On offense, he had some great possessions & also some poor ones. I hope he keeps his head up, watches the film, and continues to improve without getting too down on himself. There were a few possessions where he turned it over & looked pretty frustrated at himself – I think heāll get there eventually, just need to keep a level head.
I thought Jalen & Julian were good for most of the game, and I think they can show more than what they did today.
Collin was a bit shaky, but I think heāll play better on Sunday. I thought he would have played a bit more steadily & I was slightly disappointed. This is his first game back in a while after the major injury, he may need another 1-2 games.

Whatās the deal with Golden? Seems like he made some good plays and decisions in his limited minutes.
