Yahoo NBA reporter Jake Fischer says Lakers have interest in Christian Wood for the vet min.
Jake Fischer: I haven’t heard any new info on Christian Wood in a week. The last thing I heard was there was some Lakers interest for a vet minimum.

Hayes and Wood about to be the headache brothers
Great opportunity for Wood to rehab his value. Plenty of big man minutes available behind and possibly next to AD.
A lot of hate around here for wood. Name someone better. Biyombo? Undersized and lacks talent. Just an okay rim protector. Tristan? Hell give us 3pts and 3 rebounds
Would be a great addition

Very few places for him to go really that could help as much as here. We have a recent history of helping reclamation projects.
Stein seemed to indicate he’s waiting for Dame and Harden to resolve so looks like our offer is on the table for him.
Talent wise he’d make an amazing fit.
I need Wood
He will fit with us. Get it done in order for us to have a perfect off season
Ewwww
Yea, I think the chances of them landing wood is getting slimmer and slimmer. At some point I think he would get somehere 4-8 mil per year
Ad wood would be a good duo
Here’s the [link to the video](https://youtu.be/gYiLwpRMmyk). He did a sit down with Trevor Lane from LakersNation.
Lakers need to bring in Wood like I need to go on a submarine tour of the Titanic
Problem is he might look at the roster and think there won’t be enough minutes with AD and Hayes already
If this guy comes here and it doesn’t work out, it’ll be Harrell 2.0
I’m very skeptical about the defensive fit and the attitude of Wood. But if Rob is serious about signing him I trust him after the deadline and the moves he’s made so far.
I’d imagine you shade him with AD and then Vando at all times with one of Reaves or Vincent in the backcourt so he’s always masked defensively.
There is a reason every team turns him away after one year.
Most talent of any center left, maybe AD can help cover his defensive flaws.
Would love this. Dude is better than people think.
I’d much rather we go for Bismack. Just need someone to hold it down defensively
He was sitting with the pistons coaching staff at summer league today. Talking with Monty Williams before he left 👀
I get the hesitation, but at a vet min there really isnt any downside. There isnt a better option at the vet min. What he provides as a scorer and ability to space the floor alone is worth more than anything else we would be able to snag at the min. If the Lakers can somehow get him to buy in just a little defensively and mentally, then it is wheels up.
I remember when he was averaging 20 ppg with the Rockets he declared that he was a $100 mil player in his next contract.
