I keep thinking the same thing, who knows Dame could be going through something. Maybe he is feeling the same way by now…

Got about a month and a half longer to go dude

This really isn’t close imo. Kd was convinced because the nets had a championship caliber team on paper. Like. They were stacked (on paper). Same with the lakers. They pulled a Pau Gasol out of the sky. Unless 3 weeks into free agency we all of a sudden shift directions, the relationship is gone

It becomes a possibility when a tumultuous summer after a trade request, talks with teams, no deal and ultimately a decision for Dame to return to the franchise.

Wait till trade deadline 100%. Dame doesn’t have to play if he doesn’t want to

I hope so. It would be awkward and horrible but if Cronin doesn’t stand firm we’re gonna get a shit return for Dame. A few months of wasting his prime on a rebuilding team and he’ll consider very quickly whether playing for any team besides Miami would be acceptable to him.

Hard to say, but if there really was a promise like Windhorst and Haynes hinted, then the relationship between Dame and FO may be quite strained at the moment.

Is there a trade out there that could convince dame to stay?

When Dame asked out I thought about the Kobe trade request. And how that played out. He played and the lakers fleeced the griz and we know the rest. I think a a big star gonna ask out this year. I really think Embiid gonna be the one. Embiid gets traded to the blazers. Dame and Embiid go on to lead the blazers to the promise land.

Did those other 2 teams draft their replacement?

I think it’s a real possibility. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Heat don’t want to trade the farm for a 33 year old who doesn’t play defense and has a bloated contract.

I hope we trade dame, for ours and dames sakes
Carizle
Wait what? Durant requested a trade from the Nets and got it. How does that compare to Kobe🤣🤣

Reading that tweet was unexplainably jarring.
