Hell no. Again, more skill duplication… we have more than enough smaller shoot first guards. Too many guards in general with Clarkson, THT, Sexton, Agbaji, George and Dunn… we need an actual starting level PG, not another gunner
Lauri wants to be in Utah but I doubt Jazz can extend him. His salary is so low compared to the market value of his that Jazz literally cannot offer him a deal that makes sense. So he will most likely hit free agency and then make a new contract (with Jazz).
I also think Kessler has a good possibility to get semi big contract too since he was so good already in his rookie season.
Depends on the cost. If we could give Clarkson THT and a pick I’d do it. Any more than that idk
Excellent Review of Tyler Hero. To win a championship, Utah needs more two way players and playmaking in the backcourt. They also need a leader to run this team. At this point in their careers Sexton, Clarkson, and Hero are all quality scorers, great roll players, but not that guy yet. It will be fun to watch the Jazz try to develop or obtain that guy with all of their assets.
Some combination of Sexton, THT, Olynyk, if not all of them would likely be included in the trade.

I like the John Collins trade for the Jazz. But the big thing they gave up wasn't Rudy Gay and a second round pick. It was the 25 million in cap. I see a lot of people suggesting they got him for "free". Not entirely true. There was opportunity cost involved. You could have used that 25 million in several other ways. The real question is…. was that the BEST use of the 25 million? I'm not sure that it was. But I think it was good.
