[Rosen] @TyreseMaxey hosting Nick Nurse on his podcast, introducing his new coach to the fans he loves. Maxey: “Philly fans, they’re so passionate when they come out to the games. That’s because they work for their tickets.” Nurse: “Strong work ethic is what I believe in.”

Dude is capable of singlehandedly willing positivity into any space he’s in.

Can we get him to drop in on this sub at some point? lol

Embiid and Harden aren’t going to work with Nurse.

Agree with other commenter about Maxey.

So I love maxey, but every athlete in philly gets coached by PR to say this same thing and I don’t get it. Is it code for we are all poor? Don’t in general you have to work for things? I’m telling you, its code for we are all poor as shit.

Don’t get me wrong, I love maxey, but wow… does every sports player have a podcast these days?

Have no problem with Maxey saying this, but I never get how people can so easily fall for the blue collar city pr talk from athletes (or from any form of celebrity really)
