  1. As a fellow filipino, i feel bad for this kid coz content creators from my country are the ones hyping him up for views, as we all know, more views mean more money. If he shows a great performance, the best that he can get is a 2 way contract.

  2. Current population of The Philippines, where Basketball is the most popular sport, is 114million +. That's a lot of potential fans. Smart move, not telling them they're being silly.

  3. I think the Bol Bol release news kind of painted the picture here which is Kai Sotto makes this team in some way shape or form

  4. As far as I am aware, there are only 2 players in the NBA of (partial) Filipino descent – Jordan Clarkson (Jazz) and Jalen Green (Rockets).

  5. Americans like globetrotters style, they really don’t know Basketball, they don’t even understand the MVP Jokic.

  6. U have no brainer if magic don't pick Kai SOTTO the fans will be massive in any NBA arena and he has the talents too compete with the best NBA player he beat suns team in his first game what more if he become compostable in the NBA..

  7. Remember Kai Sotto is 7’3” with high basketball IQ and with an excellent skill sets and he is only 21 y/o.Definitely he will develop and I’m not sure if Orlando Magic is willing to do that waiting game for him to flourish.Good analysis guys.Keep up the good work.

  8. The gravity if Kai getting into The League will have a ripple effect among local players in the Philippines. Of course, we have a long way to go to be a powerhouse in the sports but individual talent is already there. Most Filipino players that are really good, either never gambled their careers to try it out abroad, don't have the resources to get there or are considered "too young" to be alone in another country. Kai was the only one who took a great risk and not following the usual route. That's why we're hoping that he really makes it.
