In a vacuum I’d agree with Cody about the teams expectations for this season, but… the west right now is just so stacked. Look at the last years standings and think about what each team has done this offseason. It’s going to be a tough road to get in the top half of that group of teams without a few of them deciding to rebuild.

I can’t imagine the Rockets roster being too much different from what it is now next season.
So, if they should be making a playoff push next season, then they should be making a playoff push this season.
