Obviously some pretty minor news, but hey it’s the summer. We already knew cap space is going to be managed aggressively next season, but more evidence of that, plus something to plug into the salary cap projections next year.
Spotrac now has us $4,162,588 under the luxury tax, but it isn’t counting millers contract against the cap for some reason, so the true number should be 2,362,588.
Such a great deal for both him and us. He gets two years to show us if he’s Bruce Brown or even better.
I have loved everything we’ve down this offseason, knowing we are running it back. Just need a nice long Jaden contract now.
I’m curious if Wolves use 15th roster spot. Caphit of veteran minimum is $2.02M while Wolves have ~$2.3M. Guys like Will Barton, Wesley Matthews, JaMychal Green, Terrence Ross, Danny Green, or Austin Rivers could be great vets for this team as long as they are fine getting DNPs. Maybe they want to keep the last roster spot open for buyouts or potential trades at the deadline. Also, Mike Conley has $1.5M incentives if his team reaches the finals, lol.
