The second one should be a no-brainer the way these refs call these games.
How is a flop going to be defined and how will it be enforced?
Harden and Embiid are gonna have to stop the foul baiting. I wish they would anyway.
Was hoping they would pass the rule where the sixers are no longer required to lose in the second round.
I hope they actually enforce it but they won’t call any after the first month.
marcus smart punching air rn
So the same refs who already can’t distinguish a flop from a foul now have the power to give out techs and free throws and impact the game more for flops? Why not just instruct them not to call flops, like they do with harden, and let the league assess techs and fines for flopping after the game?
As a reminder, because we’ll be dealing with this a lot: [Joel Embiid’s doctors told him to fall down to avoid major injuries.](https://www.nbcsports.com/nba/news/joel-embiid-falls-down-a-lot-because-his-doctors-told-him-to)
They will call token flops on c-tier players that aren’t even flops and let stars get away with egregious shit still
