Why would you do that shit when youre trying to make the team lol

It’s weird that he’s not a better shooter, I’m not mad at the shot selection here though, he was wide open.

Is it possible to cancel his 2 way contract ? Damn I rather give it to Moses Brown

I feel like Nowell should pursue an international career after this year. I don’t see him playing him in the NBA outside of garbage time

Most dudes in the league struggle with confidence, this dude has too much of it

  6. KeonClarkAlt

People were convinced he was a Fred replacement after one game. The guy is too short for the league

As a raptor fan, that was hard to watch. I hope he feels the same whenever he sees that highlight.

That was an embarrassment, I hope someone talked to him about it, you’re undrafted and in summer league, this isn’t a time to act cocky like you’re a superstar.

As long as the dude can penetrate the paint and pass like he does, I’m ok w giving him a shot even at his height. He’s got a great attitude off the court so I like the confidence on the court as long as he’s a dawg and backs it up w his play.

He had an open shot and took it as he should, he’s made big shots like that in college. The turnaround was dumb and he should take heat for that. It’s SL tho and everyone is trying to put on a show. Guessing they won’t pull that shit in the regular season against veterans. Can’t fault the confidence if it’s backed up w hard work, and he is known for that. You don’t get to this moment at his size if you haven’t put in an insane amount of work. All u can ask is that these young guys learn from these moments. Once he’s playing w the vets, I’m guessing they’ll straighten that kind of stuff out real quick. So give it time, why all the hate and slander?

He does most of the right things, makes passes that I’ve never seen Fred make, he makes quicker decisions, and somehow always gets to the paint w relative ease. If he’s not meant to be in the NBA we’ll find out soon enough but otherwise let’s let this guy do his thing. He’s already defied the odds and gotten this far so if FO believes he should have a shot, let’s let him have it. If he does make it, it’s an amazing underdog story that will energize the fanbase, if not, he’ll land in G League or Europe and we’ll move on. It’s not like we wasted a draft pick on him so good grief, let the man show us what he’s made of. Personally I gotta respect a guy that height that’s made it this far. Knowing the odds, I’d have given up a long time ago if I was him.

I think it’s entirely possible he knew how ugly the shot was and just didn’t wanna see the result.

So this is a god awful look, BUT for such a small guard his vision is surprisingly excellent and he gets off passes wicked quick.

Rein in some of this silly stuff and make him focus on the playmaking to maximize his impact, and you got yourself a good middle-end rotation piece
