  1. Thought we already knew this? Or was that just them applying. Either way feel bad for Lonzo

  2. buzzcitybonehead

$10 million seems like more than they’ll need to sign a disabled player, but who knows with the way salaries are trending?

    Feel terrible for Lonzo.

He was on the upwards trajectory in his career and this shit immediately stops it.

  4. Odd-Hovercraft-1286

It had to be those shitty ass BBB shoes that destroyed his ankles

  5. FireFlyz351

Man if he comes back it’ll be nearly 3 seasons he’ll have missed.

  6. RVAIsTheGreatest

The question now of course is whether this will be used or not and who on if so. Bulls are not far from the luxury tax but they could absolutely use someone like Christian Wood, or use a 3/D wing.

Has any player ever missed that much time due to injury and was able to come back and be competitive?

  8. kasaan110

Sad thing about this is. The surgery he got is a first for sports injury wise and I was reading that his situation is more closer to career ending then come back. Because they can’t figure out why he still dealing with pain after two surgeries

  9. Entire_Buddy_6934

Lonzo really might have to retire man shit sucks

  10. WobbleKun

does he still have knee pain after his recent clean up?

    Lonzo: “I’m disabled!”

    NBA: “How are you disabled?”

    Lonzo: “Leg disabled”

  12. Kendrick_OJ_Perkins

Imagine the shitshow if he stayed with Pelicans (along with Zion)

I’m glad the league did this. I’m no bulls fan being a Detroiter but when there is proof and it’s not only mental they should make exceptions. Having said that though, I also believe they should have contracts like in the nfl. There is no reason to me that when someone can’t do their job the way their employer wants that they can be let go injury or just lack of quality play.

I really hope Lonzo is one of those come back stories we talk about 10-15 years from now where they’re like: “They never thought he would play professional ball again, but man was he an important player on that championship roster”.

  15. SnooHedgehogs2050

Man I was pulling so hard for Lonzo to resign with the Lakers

  16. CapBrink

So does this officially end Lonzo’s season? I know it is expected but does this basically seal the deal?

  17. Ill_Celery_7654

I was on the Lonzo Ball bandwagon hardcore. Been watching him play since high school. I even downloaded his mixtapes and bought a pair of BBB shoes in his honor. Sad to see him suffer and never get to reach his full potential in the NBA.

  18. Seriously sucks for the bulls. Teams should be granted the full salary in situations like these.

  19. strangerthingskids

So upsetting. I’m glad the bulls were able to get something but what a crappy situation for everyone.

  20. Man.. those 25 games or so were such a tease 🙁

  21. autistic_hybrid
