I dont think Toronto is interested anymore especially with Siakam gone we wont be competing for a chip even with dame. Why? Well because all the signs and additions are leading up to player development. The coach that we have and his assistants are great for a devlopment stand point. If we lose Siakam for a Dame trade then we give ourself less of a chance to win a chip. Sure we have scottie, trent, poertl, og. We can still compete but in realitythese players arent ready for a deep playoff run just yet. We need scottie to develop more this year. And the whole team, the bench to get better under Darko's reign. Lets develop this year with our pieces and compete. See how far we get this year.

I don’t want to trade Scottie but honestly this sounds more reasonable to make us a contender quicker vs a team built around Scottie and OG. The proposal is too much in Portland’s favour though.
Also, the coaches brought in are developmental coaches. If we wanted to go for it should have hired a win now coach.

There is no sense in trading for a player who probably doesn't even want to play in Toronto. The only way is if you know you're a for sure contender, and then this would be a Kawhi situation, but I don't think it is, so I wouldn't do this!
