Would definitely watch it. I have only ever bought 2 jerseys and he is the other one. He has so many funny stories.

🙏 Thank you TMac. Sorry we couldn’t get you that ring

Other teams’ fans probably don’t know, but as part of their 50th year celebrations, The Spurs have done a whole series of short doco’s on youtube “Ring of the Rowel” covering the whole history of the team. Timmy does have his own episode (as do a bunch of Spurs icons, and each Championship run). They are mostly a really great watch, but Timmy himself is rarely in front of the camera.

Other than the one podcast he did with RJ and Frye (which is fucking gold, and the most candid you will ever hear him), and his HoF speech (and I’m gonna predict his speech for Pop this year), I think he is very clear about keeping himself, his personality (which from all reports is actually a pretty normal, funny, guy) and his life private, and I doubt he wants any part of a full feature documentary on himself.

Would watch, top 7 player all time. Honestly best player of his gen.

  5. whiskeyinthejaar

I am sure Tim would like that publicity

  6. eleelekeokeo69

People do need to know, and its obvious Tim Duncan dgaf

  7. Equivalent_Bet1519

There already is. Ring of the Rowel series on the Spurs YT channel details their history and there’s a section about Duncan

  8. LeFxckYouThree

Need an One Piece novel on him.
    Tim D. Uncan

  9. jimmylowcard

The most underrated guy ever to be in GOAT consideration. Duncan deserves more love

  10. markingup

Tim Duncan is the type of guy we will talk about when we are old heads.

  11. ginbooth

He’s right. One of the smoothest, most dominant players to ever play. His shots off the glass were things of beauty.

  12. obfuscatedc0de

Get ready for a whole lot of “And I took that nonchalantly.”

  13. thelastofmike

Would love this to happen. Might be controversial but I think he’s top 5 all time and personally have him at 4th.

  14. Guys like Duncan and Kawhi aren’t exactly looking for that kind of attention

  15. Akumetsu33

A episodic doc of TD talking softly into the camera and showing his cool punisher stuff, how he cooks, current hobbies, tour of house, his swimming pool, trophy room, and how he trained as a youth, etc?

A old school hooper’s wildest dream. Take all my money!

  16. pushpushp0p

Spurs big3 and Pop deserve series of it’s own.

  17. ritwikjs

it’s a crime that duncan never won DPOY. Yes, he had great competition, but there were 2 season where he was the best defender. Would’ve had the whole cabinet like MJ and people would’ve really been talking about him differently

  18. TheMandoAde888

So basically 8 episode arc of watching Tim Duncan in silence mixed with some highlight clips. /s

  19. loveandmonsters

Was one of my fav, if not outright fav, non-Blazer during his playing time. Went hard with insane skills but wasn’t flashy or loud about it. A smooth, subtle killer is fun to watch

  20. You know how in *The Last Dance,* MJ would go into detail about all his grievances which fueled him during the one-on-one interviews?

Tim Duncan would probably be like “Yea we were down a few points… and I scored some more… played some defense… and we won” the entire time.

  21. MrRosaDiaz

What we need is a 30 for 30 episode on him and Joey Crawford

  22. JUSTOatl

The Big Ol Fundamental. That bank shot off the glass was so cash money you could bet your whole house on it.

  23. smileyfrown

I would love for a Duncan’s documentary to show a day in his life from like 2014

He plays some games, does his laundry, talks about some news and pop culture.

5 pm comes he goes and wins the NBA finals

Comes home , has some salmon.

  24. Sea_Background5670

    Boring player = boring documentary?

  25. MikeMania

I want an interview with the hurricane that destroyed his practice pool.

  26. RVAIsTheGreatest

Nobody disagrees I’m sure….except Timmy himself. Don’t think it’s his thing and more power to him for that.

  27. Darth--Corgi

You know who’s not a winner? Tracy McGrady.

  28. la_bete_gentille

I am SO surprised no one talked about the need for this right after he announced his retirement….

  29. knownsportsenjoyer

Ken burns salivating at making a doc about something so boring

  30. edwardwooji

We know about him. He’s one of the all time greats. He’s just lowkey, boring and not as marketable. Which is fine. Not everyone needs to be MJ/Magic/Kobe

  31. EvenShaman

Don’t know if Tim Duncan would ever care about producing his own “Last Dance”

  32. amenacingballsack

    Hell no.

Gimme a third feature-length biopic about LeBron’s fucking high school team instead.
