This wouldn’t happen for at least a couple more years, and we’ve got 35 draft picks over the next 7.
We’ll be fine.

That does suck if it devalues our pick for that one year, and the expansion draft will surely take one of our players due to our young depth, but this has always been in the horizon. For a while the speculation has been that it will happen when Lebron retires.
We still wouldn’t make any moves differently if we could go back as a result if this news
It will also be a few years at minimum

Nah, If Presti wants to protect more than 8, he has the draft capital to do it.
In fact, OKC will probably only be allowed to lose one player max, and Presti can just pay a team to take whatever contract he wants to get rid of the most at that point.

Same dude also claimed that OKC has shown interest in trading for Caleb Martin. 😂

Lol @ the Irony of OKC fans bitching about a SEATTLE expansion team potentially taking their 9th best player

Seattle don’t deserve a franchise.

You can only draft one unprotected player. If an expansion draft was held today we might lose someone like Kenrich or Poku but we’ll have a couple of seasons to consolidate things and make sure that if someone valuable could be lost for nothing they can trade them first.

I mean who’s our 8 guys.
Shai, Giddey, Dub, Chet, JWill, Dort, Cason, Ous?
Everyone else is kinda in the mix already to some degree l

Honestly I’m happy for Seattle. When I was a kid I started a Sonic fan and followed the team to OKC since I never lived in Seattle. But I’ve been to a few home games and they have a wonderful fan base. They’ve been salty about okc for a long time but I always viewed it as mostly justifiable. They did have their home town team ripped from them after being mostly lied to after all. We will be just fine.

The Mexico City thing makes no sense tho because theyd have to add in another city so the league has an even amount
