Bring over some vets?

With D. Rose out, Evan Fournier is now currently our oldest player – which may not be the case when he gets traded. I really think some good veteran leadership is good for this team moving forward, as I think that the Eastern Conference is much more wide open than it has been the past few years.

IMO, a veteran big would fill our needs. Here are some available FAs that I would take a second look at (no particular order)

1. Blake Griffin

– Won’t complain about reduced PT, still hustles at his age, can occasionally space the floor (35% 3PT), tons of playoff experience, knows Boston’s plays

2. Serge Ibaka

– Champion. Spaces the floor. Knows defense. Knows Milwaukee’s plays.

3. James Johnson

– HE’S A DOG

4. Taj Gibson

– My personal pick. Loved by our own guys. Can now hit 3s. He’s a dog and he’s TAJ.

What do you guys think? Nevertheless, I’m excited for this season haha let’s go Knicks!

Do we? We have several seasoned guys on our team. Many now have multiple playoff series under their belts.

Sims isn’t going to develop sitting behind Mitch and IH; move him in a deal and sign Taj for the vet min.

Randle should know better by now. He needs to not get himself into trouble this year. As long as our guys progress on the court and mature emotionally that’s all the veteran-ness we need
