    I want to hear more details about this. I’m guessing the swap only happens if we want it to, otherwise we could just be handing Phoenix a high draft pick if we struggle in the 2025-26 season for any reason.

    This whole thing is weird, feels like Weltman just wanted to get ahead on selling all our second rounders instead of waiting until draft night.

    I like it. 3 years is a pretty long time in the NBA. Does anyone expect KD to stay there for the next 3 seasons? Bradley Beal hasn’t exactly been the picture of health. Ayton seems like he has one foot out the door.

    Considering we never use our 2nd rounders, this could end up being a pretty smart move. I’m just glad we finally did something with our 2nd round picks instead of just trading them for cash.

    Wizard fan lurkin, i think you guys get the second swap on this pick because Washington already owns the swap here Via the Beal trade (we own their swaps 24,26,28,30). Decent chance neither of us use the swap in 26 unless the suns stink/blow it up or one of their core members get badly hurt and it changes their entire trajectory.

    I’m sure Bobby marks will probably make a tweet explaining it better than i can lol.

    I can’t remember the last time we made a decent 2nd round draft pick so this is fine by me. I’ll take it over cash considerations any day.

    How does this make sense? Why would I want to swap with a team that gets the 18th pick for my 5th? And send 3 seconds to do it. LMAO

    Solid move. We never use our 2nd round picks or we just waste them on players who never develop.
