The Sixers should've got embiid some help by trading for Beal this off season. Embiid needs a legit co star 2nd option.
This is not a case like Dame. Embiid doesn't play like an MVP when the playoffs come. He gets lazy at times. look at the game 7 vs Celtics, he scored less than 20 points. In game 5 PJ Tucker had to get in his ear and yell at him to be more aggressive. He's part of the reason why Sixers haven't been to the finals.
This show is not entertaining at all respectfully. Every time I try to listen I gotta cut it off

Embiid is the only MVP where he does not attract other stars to join his team. On the contrary, stars who plays with him wants to leave him (Ben, Harden). Just says how non-valuable his MVP heart is.

Embiid is such a good individual player, but narrative has him as a really bad teammate. Hope it isn’t true, but that definitely doesn’t build championships.
On the future salary discussion, I don't have a problem with players potentially making $100m a year. Overall I'd rather players get the money vs owners. My problem is that some of these players do not deserve the kind of money they are on. Steph curry, giannis and jokic (among a few others) deserve every penny. Lamelo Ball has no business making $260m – Charlotte are a dumper fire but he's not made a dent. At that point, the money should be used to subsidise tickets and invest in local community causes
