Everyone on the Nuggets is in “let’s shit on the Lakers” mode.

  2. Somebody please put a mic in KAT’s face today

  3. Bunny_Whaler

Sounds about right. Minnesota actually held Jokic to his worst stats of any series in the finals run. He still averaged 26/game but still 😂

  4. SquimJim

I honestly don’t think anyone really gave them any trouble.

I remember last year when Brown said they were gonna attack Horford and Theis specifically as a weak point and KD basically had to tell him to tone it down lmao

Lakers series was a lot less close than people talk about. 2 of the games were blowouts that only seemed closer due to feeble late runs.

There is no such thing as a “close sweep.” A sweep is a sweep, there is no lower result that can be achieved in a series. If you can’t win even a single game on your own floor then your teams are not close at all.

Lol thank god someone on the actual team finally said it, I was getting sick of the Laker fan cope on here about how they were allegedly the toughest team the Nuggets faced even though they were the only ones who got swept

  8. orphicwitch

KAT blasting ‘i’m the man’ as we speak

  9. itwasmymistake

Hilarious that he mentions Mike Conley over Gobert.

  10. gigglios

Similar to how 2011 mavs toughest challenge was blazers in round 1

  11. MethodMan_

Even with the suns blowouts, they never looked out of control in any series.

That’s how I felt as a fan, too. The Wolves got better as the series went along. The Suns legs were shot by the end of game 5, they weren’t winning again.

Miami felt close too, but also sort of inevitable, given the size mismatch.

When you win it all, you earned the right to talk some shit.

LeBron announcing another short retirement later today

  15. jamochasnake

am I tripping or did he say “even when they went on their little run, like Austin Reaves was hitting threes” and not “all series hitting threes” ? u/nbaperspective

I don’t know who the interviewer is but maybe he should let the guest actually finish the sentence

  17. Oblivious_Jellyfish

Thanks Bruce! Wish we coulda signed you.

  18. Makes sense. Jokic looked tired at the end of every game. Having to go against Rudy and KAT all day is probably a lot of work. Might have been able to give them a run for their money with Jaden and Naz in the game.

Sounds about right. A ring is a ring, but it ended up being literally the easiest championship run ever (at least since the playoffs expanded to 16 teams). Lowest combined opponent SRS, zero 50-win opponents, only two all-NBA opponents and neither of them were 1st team.

The fact that the wolves traded 28 first round picks for DPY Gobert and he wasn’t even mentioned when Bruce Brown was talking about tough guys on their team. Love it.

Most Nuggets fans, including me, still say that out of all the players we faced in the playoffs, Ant put the most fear in us.

Obviously Book had that insane few games, but Ant really felt like he was going to make every shot he took

  22. wholsmay

What playing next to the best player in the world makes to a motherfucker confidence

  23. steve1186

That Minnesota series was WAY closer than the 4-1 indicates. Ant is a monster – he’s only like 22 and the Nuggets had no way to defend him

  24. ZacapaRocks

“And we had the best player in the NBA peaking at his game. That was kind of a thing.

  25. guitarguywh89

Says toughest series was Minnesota but they lost to the suns twice 🙄

  26. Ham-n-Swiss

Can we put this on a banner and hang it from the Target Center rafters?

  27. trimble197

Kinda hilarious that comments are immediately siding with Brown when before this, everyone kept saying that the Suns were the most challenging.
