Deni Avdija injury

According to this article, the Israeli’s national team coach claims that Deni Avdija has some sort of injury that Washington is worried about and required flying over his doctor for testing. A free translation would be “He’s been committed to being here since day one. He’s got an injury that worries Washington, so right now he is unfit to be with us and take part in the training sessions. His doctor from the states came here to run some tests, hopefully it’s nothing serious and we could have him. He’s done everything in his power to be here.”

Has anyone heard something about this from an official source in Washington?

I wonder if it’s something serious enough to impact his position in the team

  1. Oldschoolhollywood

This could be an excuse to not play in Israel because that truly hasn’t helped him improve during the offseason so far.

He has much more to gain training over the summer instead.

That being said, hopefully this isn’t a real serious thing because that would suck.

  2. Agreed that Deni is likely completely fine. Just sounds like an excuse to get hi back to DC. Shoulda been here. Training camp is in less than a month right?
