I’m really excited about this kid. He showed the flaws we knew he had so he has work to do, but his other skills shone through really nicely. Great positional size with good defense. Excellent passing feel. He showed the mid range is still there once he found his timing and spacing.
Everything we hear is how this kid works and his desire to be great. He’s going to improve. Buy stock now.

Why did we draft D’Lo again?
But seriously I think passing and playmaking is pretty impressive and he should be able to grow into a solid point guard down the line.

I am not very good at evaluating talent. I was hyped about Russ. I thought Upshaw was HIM. So I can’t really say I can evaluate an NBA player. But I was amazed by how under control he was, how he dictated the pace and his picking his spots. I cant say if he will be a good player or not, but he impressed me in a way.

To be honest, his three point shooting was worse than expected. I thought maybe he would shoot around 30% like he did in college, but 21% is pretty brutal. Good thing 6 Summer League games won’t define his career. Christie actually had a worse 3 point shooting percentage in college & there’s no reason to rule out JHS putting in the same work and improve
