This GM is a total fraud. He has done ZERO to get the team to the next level. He had a chance to get Tyrese Halliburton and opted for Harden his friend. Halliburton is a much better consistent scorer and gets plenty of assists.
I feel we are underrating the sixers, they are fine without Harden and if they manage to get Powell and Covington thats prettyy good honestly. Their Rotation would be like Maxey, Melton, Covington, Harris, Embid, Powell, Pat Bev, Korkmaz, PJ, House, Reed.

Joel is literally good enough to make any roster a top 10 defense. And in the playoffs the Sixers defense struggled because of guys not named Joel specifically Tobias Harris who gets blown by on every possession
I’m no expert on X’s and O’s, but I just want to see the Sixers have more off ball movement on offense. I just feel like it’s always been easy to double Embiid on the playoffs because the Sixers don’t run anything to exploit the defensive rotations. The Nuggets are constantly cutting around Jokic, and I would love to see something more like that in Philly. Obviously Embiid isn’t nearly the passer Jokic is, but I don’t see why you shouldn’t give him more options.

So one big problem with this video is talking about a trade that not only hasn't happened, but is unlikely to happen as both front offices have openly reported not wanting to do a deal on those barometers.
The reality is that this situation is not like Ben Simmons and more like what happened with Terrell Owens on the Philadelphia Eagles. That year, Owens wanted to renegotiate after 1 year into a 7 year deal. The Eagles FO didn't entertain that desire and ultimately later traded him to the Dallas Cowboys. But not before basically suspending him the whole year.
The difference is that Harden is expiring, and so the 76ers have openly, very openly stated their lack of desire to trade James Harden due to that contractual value to the organization. The resolution to this, is suspending James Harden for conduct detrimental to the team, and he will basically not be a 76er and enter the 2024 free agency class.
Also, the 76ers have never had a scoring defense worse than 7th in the Joel Embiid era. Including the games before the Harden trade. You're disrespecting Joel's defense, but his defense has been disrespected his whole career.
