There are no angles where it looks like it should have gone in. This is just some weird Philly karma shit or something

I wish Sixers fans could live out their alternate history where that shot misses so they could experience the loss in overtime instead

This is probably one of my all time favourite shots. This along with them announcing ‘Is this the dagger ?’
I wish I was there.for this moment.

I know Blocked by James is the technically biggest highlight of the last 10 years but this is the one I think was more effecting to those who watched it. It’s not even about player ability. It’s how exciting the bounces are and how exciting that makes it. Blocked by James really came out and was like, we were living in a “Before lebron blocked that shot” and then an “after Lebron blocked that shot”
There’s a full second and a half of this ball bouncing. Probably the most tense second and a half everyone from the players on the floor to me watching on my tv shared. We were in that moment and just watching.
In the 2019 regular season vs portland Kawhi hit a dagger fadeaway on the right baseline that bounced the exact same as this shot. Crazy shit

That shot ended Ben Simmons career
TheLastSecondShot
That might be the luckiest shot in NBA history, given the circumstances
maricircus
It’s like the countdown shot (3..2..1..) we used to practice as kids in our backyard growing up… but on the biggest stage in sports… in GAME 7. Greatest shot ever imo.

lmao it really was a travel huh
MSKOnlyScans
This really puts into perspective how insanely fast they’re moving.

Also an alternate angle of the last time Ben Simmons wanted to play basketball well.
StrtupJ
Damn that’s actually great defense
Critical_Year1571
The Sixers never recovered from this shot.

I’d like one without the slow mo effect. I wanna hear the crowd get super silent and then explode

I still remember hearing that ball bouncing on the rim watching this live. One of the most surreal shots ever.
jaywalker_69
I love seeing that one person in the background stand up between the first and second bounces
bmnewman
My favourite angle of ‘the shot’.
Yablo-Yamirez

perenially_yours
It’s such a great game-winner.
I hate it
But I respect it.

You can see the moment where simmons’ basketball skills left his body at the end there..
