Ben Simmons could have followed the path of a JKidd. Kidd didnt have a jumper but he was a decent ft shooter. So he was content on facilitating, passing and defending while averaging almost a triple double. But as soon as he lost some of his athleticism, he started to have a jumpshot. Fact is, he is in the Top 20 All Time for 3 pointers made. Just the right mindset a serious practice
This guy was on his way to a hall of fame career. Who in the history of the NBA has fallen apart psychologically like Ben.
I hope he gets past everything so he can look back on his career in a good light when he’s older.

We need to quit the 'offense' aspect of the Ben Simmons problem. Talking about how he can be a facilitator because of the currently constructed roster of shooters and cutters is nonense. Last year he had KD, Kyrie, Joe Harris, Seth Curry and Patty Mills. And yet Ben Simmons didn't facilitate s**t. What is more unsettling about his game, is the complete lack of interest on defense to the point of self-sabotage.
