  1. As a kid who had an awkward game growing up I would always get clowned and ridiculed by my teammates. In middle school it pretty much destroyed my confidence and I stopped hooping entirely. I got back into it my freshman man year of college after the raptors had just won the title. I started watching the NBA again and instantly became a fan of Jokic. Ugly as hell and awkward as a mf on the court but he still sliced dudes up. Watching his success bolstered my confidence in my unorthodox play and now at 22 I’ve developed really solid game. I beat guys with hook shots, awkward catch and shoot 3s, little floaters, and one legged faders. What I lack in athleticism and handles I make up for with constant movement off the ball. I think that it’s great for kids to have all sorts of player types they can look up to now. It’s what makes basketball unique and beautiful, there’s so many ways to play it.

  2. Jokic doesn’t feel underrated. He could care less. He wisely focuses on playing his best game with the singular goal of winning a NBA Championship as his goal. Individual accolades mean nothing if you can’t win the ultimate prize – the Championship. And no individual can do that without a good team. If only some others would learn that lesson.

  3. Jokić is so athletic he teaches you a lesson, run smarter not faster. He's schooling everyone out there. If you base basketball out of athleticism then Jokić must be the most athletic out there.

  4. The kids cannot relate to his game…
Well, it is about fundamentals and I guess it is not taught any more. Reading the game, IQ…
Coaches are teaching how to jumb high and run, they rather should reconsider their way of teaching the game instead

  5. His high basketball IQ is his most important asset and yet it s not talked enough. I guess u have to have high IQ to notice that as well, which is not the case of most ppl talking abt him.
If u hear Lebron talking abt, he will tell u why he thinks Jokic is great in a different way than these other cats are talking about him!
As an example, when PG is talking abt his game, he is just saying that Jokic is weird. What does this even mean? He is not flashy… no, his passes are, unless u never paid attention. He certainly dont jump high but he is very tall, and had a great sense of timing in rebounding… all that is basketball IQ.
You guys if all you do is jumping and running is okay, also as basketball lover, Russ doesnt impress anyone if it is not his athletism and little IQ. Thats probabably why he cant win as a main point guard. A guy like Holiday would beat him on any given day.
It is a basketball not athletism. He could have been a great triple jumper, high jumper, pole vault, 400m runner, 110m hurdles runner etc… if I want to watch that, I watch the olympics or other athletism meetings.
When I watch basketball, I am looking for something else

  6. It is simple-people that do not appreciate Jokić don't know and don't understand the game of basketball!!Not to mention he's a great example of a good person.

  7. If Kobe was still alive, he d ve done a 'details' on Jokic game, and y all dummies would ve understood instead of calling his game awkward. Kobe seemed to be the only one who understands the difference between how basketball is played abroad and how it should be played the right way. He was lamenting how the americans focus more on athletism and forget about the most important about the game which are fundamentals

  8. Nah. Not special. Not “special.” Not special. Not “special.” Not on that spectrum. Not on thah spehtrum. Not on thah spehtrun. /

  9. Jokic’s Passing is like Magic
    His shooting is like Bird
    His fadeaway is like Dirk
    Fundamentals like Tim Duncan
His Game IQ and ability to control the pace of a game is like LeBron
But his athleticism is like a player from your local YMCA pickup game.

  10. if i had to compare jokic to a player the only one that comes to mind are like sabonis or kirlilenko

  11. Yo man you guys need to pronounce his name correctly.

    “Yo – kitch” wrong ❌
    “Yor- Kitch” right ✅

    “Ni- Ko- La”wrong❌
    “Ni- Kor- La”right✅

    Nikola Jokic..

It’s like your name is Tim and everyone in the world – is calling you Tom.
That’s what the Joker is hearing

  12. It's become a trend to talk about how underrated jokic is. Every single media outlet / podcast is putting out content on how underrated he is and every one of them seems to blame the "media". Something doesn't add up there — some of these outlets need to put out an apology for not rating him earlier

  13. It’s not a track & field event, it’s basketball. It’s about getting more points than the other team, not who can jump the highest. It’s absurd to say “he isn’t athletic” because he doesn’t have a 40” vertical and keeps his tongue in his mouth. Jokic plays 40 minutes a game so he has endurance. Jokic is considered the second strongest player in the league only behind Steven Adams. Jokic is 7’ but he has amazing touch, great hands, great vision, great foot work. He throws passes the length of the court with pinpoint accuracy. But you say he is “unathletic”? You have a very narrow, ignorant sense of athleticism.

  14. World boxing champion is a 6ft9 300 pound fat dude that beat the shit out of athletic hardest puncher in history, not once but 3 times and the other WC in boxing beat up Adonis athletic power puncher using skills!

  15. Joker is playing soccer with his hands. He plays like his designed on software (efficient)

  16. I bet Jokic pissed off a bunch of black players when he said, "Cool. We won. I just want to go home."😂😂😂😂😂😂

There was no kevin garnett ANYTHINGS POSSIIIIIIIBLEEEEEEE scream😂😂😂

"Jokic so weird. Dat dude weird??"😂😂😂

  17. As a Serbian coach can confirm, the trick is to teach the kids when they are young that they can play any position. And then you get a 7 foot guy that can do anything on the court.
